I was born in Pontefract in 1986, and grew up in Kellington, in North Yorkshire. In 2007 I graduated from The University of Birmingham with a BA in English Literature and Philosophy, and the following year went on to live and work in Kraków, Poland. Moving to Łódź in 2011 to teach literature led to meeting my wife, Jan Michelle Andres, with whom I moved to Redlands, Southern California where I currently live and write. I came to depend on poetry in late adolescence and have recently begun seeking publication, as such I am also preparing a pamphlet. The poem 'True Grit' was recently accepted by Helen Ivory to be published on Ink, Sweat, & Tears.
